6. Add a cap band to peg 8.

7. To add your flower center, place one loop on the gold beaded band from peg 1 to peg 4 and the loop on the other side of the beaded band from peg 3 to peg 6. (This step is shown in illustration C.) Hook the top single band under the cap band and beaded bands on peg 8 and bring it up and over to peg 6. Hook the bottom single band on peg 8 and bring it up and over to peg 4. Hook the bottom single band on peg 6 and bring it up and across to peg 3. Hook the bottom single band on peg 3 and bring up and across to peg 2. Repeat this pattern on the other side. Thread your hook through all the bands on peg 8 and hook a single band to pull through and loop around all the bands on that peg. Place this newly added loop onto peg 9. This step is shown in illustration D.
